LORIE JO BRIDGES • River Town

 RIVER TOWN EP COMING 2018
Lorie Jo Bridges is set to unleash her life-inspired Americana album, River Town, later in 2018.  This long-awaited, solo debut marks the her fifth offering as a songwriter but only her first as a solo, studio project. Her latest group of works include a gritty and eclectic mix of stories inspired by the difficulties of simply being human. From love and loss to longing, betrayal and heartache her songs speak to our realities, telling tales that unite and connect us all on this crazy journey of the human condition.

Hosting songs about facing the daily reality of being human, the EP’s tracks discuss living on the impoverished side of the economic divide in “Home,” the desire to drink your heartache away in “Drink Until I Drown,” and revisits gloomy traditions of folk music in the dark tale of domestic violence and murder found in the title track, “River Town.”
